How Do Marriott Suite Night Awards Work?
Suite Night Awards (a.k.a SNAs) are one of Marriott Bonvoy's Annual Choice

qualifying nights (Titanium Elite) in a calendar year.Â
When it comes to these SNAs, there's a lot to understand about how they work
including how do you earn them, how do you request them and how do you redeem
them. Then there are rules on how those Suite Night Awards can
be applied to a reservation and what Marriott Bonvoy brand hotels that are
participating and accepting Suite Night Awards upgrade.Â
I'll try to walk you through these most commonly had questions about Marriott Suite
Night Awards (SNAs) below.Â

How to Redeem Marriott Suite Night Awards?
In order to redeem Marriott Suite Night Awards (SNAs), it is important
that you understand the terms and rules that attach to these awards:
- Suite Night Awards expire on December 31 of the year following the year in which they were earned. For example, if you reach 50 qualifying nights in 2020 and you select 5 SNAs as your Annual Choice Benefits, those SNAs will be valid through December 31, 2021.Â
- Suite Night Awards can be used on Marriott's eligible stays such as paid stays, Free Night Award stays and cash + points stays.Â
- Each Suite Night Award is only valid for one night of a stay. With 5 SNAs, you could book a 5 nights stay and use all 5 suite awards. You could also book a 2 nights stay and use just 2 suite awards. But you cannot book a 6 nights stay and use only 5 suite awards as part of the entire stay.
- Suite Night Awards may not be transferred or given as a gift or used as part of a multiple room reservation.     Â
- Suite Night Awards may only be used for standard suites or other premium rooms as designated by the Participating Property. See example screenshot below - this Nashville property offers Suite and other premium room types that are eligible for the Suite Night Awards upgrade.Â
