The exclusive Sheraton Club at Sheraton Grand Taipei is good, but I would not call it the best Marriott Club Lounges in Asia. The Sheraton Club offers ample seating and decent amenities, but the hotel itself is a bit dated, and therefore, the Sheraton Club also looks less appealing. However, being able to enjoy daily free breakfast, dinner, and cocktails while staying at the Sheraton Grand Taipei is not bad!

Sheraton Club Lounge Location and Access

There are two towers at Sheraton Grand Taipei, and the Sheraton Club is on the west wing, 17th floor. I screwed up by accepting the Junior Suite Upgrade on the 11th floor as opposed to a king room Executive floor. So, I had to walk from my room’s wing to the executive wing. The walk was not bad, just inconvenient.

Marriott Platinum Elite and above can access the Sheraton Club. When checking in, the hotel staff gives you a lounge access card, but in reality, you only have to give your room number to the lounge staff at the front and gain access.

Sheraton Club Lounge Hours

The following is the daily operating hours of the Sheraton Club:

  • Breakfast from 7 am to 10:30 am
  • Afternoon tea is from 2 pm to 4 pm
  • Happy Hour is from 5 pm to 8 pm

Happy Hour consists of free wines, beers, and unlimited alcoholic liquors to make your cocktails. In addition, there’s also a buffet of hot dishes to enjoy.

Club Lounge Seats

Sheraton Club Lounge has a lot of sofa types of seats, and they look comfortable. Some seats also offer the city skylines through large windows. But I think they built those windows a little high to really enjoy the full view. See the following photos below:

Breakfast

Unlike the elite breakfast benefit at Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel, where you can choose to have your breakfast inside the Marriott Executive Lounge or the on-site buffet M9 restaurant, the elite breakfast benefit at Sheraton Grand Taipei can only be enjoyed inside the Sheraton Club.

Sheraton Club’s Breakfast is available inside the lounge from 7 am to 10:30 am. There are two small buffet sections, and there’s also a live cook available to make any eggs needed. In addition, there are both Asian and Western hot and cold dishes, from buns to soup and congee, bacon, and some heavy food like pasta and Hungarian chicken if you want. Moreover, there are also salad and sushi available, with plenty of options for everyone.

Afternoon Tea

Furthermore, the afternoon tea is offered from 2 pm to 4 pm. It includes unlimited nonalcoholic beverages and desserts plus a small hot dish, such as dim sum. It’s also worth noting that if you want a Coke Zero, you will need to request that from the lounge staff, specifically.

Evening Happy Hour

Evening service, known as the Happy Hour, starts at 5 pm; however, the hot dish does not come out until 5:30 pm through 7:30 pm, so keep that in mind.

During the Happy Hour, there are two small buffet sections, one for Asian dishes such as stir-fried veggies, seafood fried rice, and pork bun, for example. The other buffet section is mostly Western food, such as cheese sticks, onion soup, and chicken wings. The food options may vary depending on when you visit. In addition, there was also a live cook who was cutting Thai-style pork at the time. Next to it was a rice and curry buffet food.

Furthermore, alcoholic beverages are included. You can drink beer, champagne, red or white wines, etc., including nonalcoholic beverages. You can also enjoy unlimited alcoholic spirits to make your cocktails.

Beers & Wines

Beers and wines are available and served during the Happy Hour evening service, and therefore, you can enjoy the drinks while having your buffet dinner.

Desserts

There’s really no specific dessert time at the Sheraton Club. You can enjoy desserts along with dinner and drinks during the Happy Hour that I mentioned above.
