As a Hyatt Globalist elite member, my reservation at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa includes complimentary access to the Grand Club, where we had breakfast every morning and appetizers in the evening every day. All meals are served buffet-style, so you can enjoy as much as you want, and this can really save you money because the food and beverages at the resort can be costly.
The good news is the Grand Club at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa is currently open with full-service. There are COVID-related measures to ensure the safety of everyone. Therefore, all guests must wear a facemask while not eating or drinking and wear disposable gloves when picking up food and beverages from the buffet station. Hand sanitizers are also available in the lounge, and all tables are cleaned and sanitized after each use by the club attendants.
Grand Hyatt Kauai Club Lounge Location & Access
The location of the Grand Club is confusing to find if it is your first time staying at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa. It must be a frequently asked question for guests because, upon checking in, the receptionist clearly wrote down the room number near the Grand Club. Without that piece of information, it would have been very hard trying to find the club lounge.
The Grand Club at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort is located on Level 3, next to room number 3021. It’s also close to the Anara Spa if that’s easier for you to find the club.
You access the lounge with your room key if your reservation has club lounge access, such as your Hyatt’s Globalist elite status, or you apply the Club Access Award to your reservation.

Grand Club Seats
Our favorite is the outdoor seats because we could enjoy our food while looking out to the panoramic ocean view. I also saw some guests did takeout if that’s what you prefer. You simply let the club attendant know.

I love that the Grand Club at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa has a bulletin board that posts breakfast and hors d’oeuvres menu items each day, so you know what they will be serving for the following day. See the photo below:

Beers & Wines
Unfortunately, the Grand Hyatt Kaui’s Grand Club does not serve cocktails, and they only have beers and wines for purchases. To purchase, you simply write down your name and room number on the Grand Club Honor Bar paper and specify which alcoholic item you consume, sign it, and have the bill charged to your account portfolio during your stay. Each alcoholic drink, a can of beer or a glass of wine, costs only $5 per item. This is another saving opportunity to purchase cheap alcoholic beverages compared to the drinks sold at the resort’s restaurants and bars.
Editor’s Tip: If you choose to turn down housekeeping service, you will receive either 500 World of Hyatt Points or $10 Food & Beverage Credit each day. The credit does apply to all charges you incur in the Grand Club as well.
It’s worth noting also that all non-alcoholic drinks are free of charge.

Afternoon Snacks
The afternoon snacks are served daily from 12 PM – 4 PM.
Honestly, we only went to check out once because we were not impressed by the snacks they served at the Grand Club. They are minimal with just some nuts, sugar cookies, and brownies items.
You can also drink any complimentary non-alcoholic drinks or purchase alcoholic beverages if you’d like.
