I had the opportunity to check out the new Qatar Airways Al Mourjan Business Lounge at Doha Hamad International Airport (DOH) called The Garden. My flight is Business Class Qsuite from Doha to Seattle on the Boeing triple 7s, so getting into the lounge with my business class ticket was not an issue.
In a nutshell, The Garden Lounge is beautiful and luxurious and has several nice amenities and facilities. Here’s a review in detail:

Location
To reach Al Mourjan Business Lounge – The Garden, you may need to take the sky train or walk, depending on where you are inside the Doha Airport (DOH).
You’ll need to get to C gates at the North part of the terminal. Do not confuse this with the existing Al Mourjan Business Lounge on the terminal’s Southside.
Lounge Access
For complimentary access to The Garden:
- Qatar Airways First Class and Business Class passengers can access the lounge.
- oneworld First Class and Business Class passengers can access the lounge.
Simply show the boarding pass and your passport. The staff at the entrance will stamp the visit on the back of your boarding pass and admit you into the lounge. You then take the elevator to go upstairs, where the lounge reception desk is, and there will be more staff there to direct or guide you through the lounge if it’s your first time visiting the new Al Mourjan Garden Business Lounge.

Louis Vuitton Lounge
It’s important to note that Qatar Airways’ Al Mourjan Garden Business Lounge and Qatar Airways’ Louis Vuitton (LV) Lounge are in the same complex; each lounge does not partner with the other. You’ll find the Louis Vuitton shop downstairs, and their lounge entrance is right across from The Garden Loung’s check-in reception desk. In other words, you can enter The Garden Lounge for free with your eligible boarding pass, but you cannot enter Louis Vuitton Lounge and vice versa.

Lounge Seats
Al Mourjan Garden Business Lounge has several seating areas, including dining tables, chairs, and seats with wireless charging stations. The Garden Lounge could get crowded, but not to the point that it’s impossible to find a place to sit and enjoy the lounge.

Amenities
You will see two directions signs when you stand at the check-in reception desk upstairs inside the lounge.
To your left are:
- Lounge
- Quiet Area & Showers
- Prayer Rooms
- Luggage Room
To the right are:
- Dining & Bar
- Family & Game Room
- Smoking Room
- Spa & Gym
Dining
The dining experience inside The Garden Lounge is considered Gourmet Dining. You can enjoy the food off the menu or modern and traditional cuisine buffet style. Servers and waiters/waitresses are ready and available to seat you and take your orders.

Food & Lounge Menu
As mentioned, buffet style or a la carte is offered, depending on your preferences. The a la carte menu can be viewed through the QR code.
There are plenty of food options available at the buffet station too. The buffet menu changes based on the day and time of your visit. You’ll not be hungry leaving the lounge.

Drinks
Drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, are also plentiful inside The Garden Lounge.
There are bars on each side of the lounge for any liquor drinks. A total of two (2) bars that you can order from, or you can order from the waitstaff at the dining area, too!

Lounge Sleep & Quiet Rooms
The Garden Lounge features 24 quiet spaces, each designed to offer optimum relaxation, free of charge for the first six (6) hours. But getting one is not that easy, in my opinion. So I recommend you head to the Quiet Rooms section on your arrival to make a reservation and hope you can reserve a quiet space that works for your layover time at Doha Airport (DOH).
Spa & Gym
The Garden Lounge also features seven (7) spa treatment rooms and gyms, but unfortunately, they were not ready when I was there, so they were closed.
Bathroom
The bathroom is another luxurious facility inside The Garden Lounge: each toilet is fully enclosed, and there’s an attendant inside the bathroom, ensuring cleanliness.
Shower Rooms
Shower rooms are also available, and they are nice and clean. My only complaint with the shower room is it does not have a toilet inside it. Towels are provided inside the shower room, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. You reserve the shower room with the attendant at the entrance of the shower room section.

Prayer Rooms
Doha, Qatar being the Middle Eastern airline and lounge, prayer rooms are available for both genders.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available by simply connecting to the airport Wi-Fi, free of charge.
Conclusion
I am blown away by the Al Mourjan Business Lounge – The Garden. The lounge is a destination in itself at Doha Hamad International Airport (DOH) because it is beautiful and luxurious, offering relaxing and first-class experiences and facilities to enjoy and relax. The lounge features nice amenities, from quiet rooms and shower rooms to gourmet dining, spa, and gym. Therefore, I strongly recommend you check out The Garden Lounge on your next visit to Doha!
