Best 185,000 Bonus Offer: Marriott Brilliant Card
Earn 185,000 Bonus Marriott Points after you make $6,000 in eligible purchases on your card within the first 6 months of account opening. The offer ends on October 2, 2024.
On my trip to Singapore, I checked out The St. Regis Singapore because I have a Marriott Free Night 35k Certificate, and I can top off with 8,000 Marriott Bonvoy points to redeem for a free night stay there for the date I wanted.
It was a wonderful stay at The St. Regis Singapore with a suite upgrade and an amazing complimentary International breakfast that is part of my Marriott Platinum Elite benefit.

Location
The St. Regis Singapore location is not the greatest but not the worst. It’s located in the Orchard area of Singapore, where there are shopping centers. If you want to go to the Marina area, you can take a direct bus or two MRT subways if you do not want to take a taxi. There is also a direct bus from/to the airport too.
Caroline Astor Suite Upgrade
A week before check-in, I decided to use one of the Marriott Suite Night Awards I earned from attaining Marriott Platinum Elite status and applied the award to the reservation. I selected both suite upgrade options: the Caroline Astor and 1 Bedroom Suites. The request got approved for the Caroline Astor Suite, which was the exact suite that I wanted instead of the 1 Bedroom suite type.
The Caroline Astor Suite is categorized as Executive Suite at The St. Regis Singapore, so I was very excited to check it out!
Data points from the points community also indicate that Marriott Platinum Elite and above can receive complimentary upgrades to the Caroline Astor Suite based on availability upon check-in.
Check out the mini video of the Caroline Astor Suite at The St. Regis Singapore below:
Caroline Astor Suite Review
The Caroline Astor Suite was assigned to me on the 14th floor, and there are 20 floors at The St. Regis Singapore.
After exiting the elevator and turning left to the suite, I noticed the pathway to the suite door was very nice and upscale.

Then I also saw the sign “Executive Suite” by the suite door.

After entering the suite, I was blown away by the size of the living room and the corner views from there, and there was a mini bar by the door.

Later, I entered the bedroom, which is another large room for me. The king bed looks big and comfortable.

On each side of the bed are light controls and curtain controls.

The bedroom also has a nice size window view.
The bathroom is yet another large with a bathtub with a small entertainment screen to watch, listen and enjoy while relaxing in the tub. The bedroom also comes with a double vanity sink and a walk-in shower.

Overall, I’m quite impressed by the Caroline Astor Suite at The St. Regis Singapore, and I’m so glad I got the 4pm late checkout to enjoy the room and the property longer for my one-night stay.
Executive Club Lounge
St. Regis brand does not have an executive club lounge for Marriott Bonvoy elite members. However, as a Marriott Platinum Elite member, I was invited to enjoy the Aperitivio Hour, which offers two free drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks) and a buffet-style charcuterie board from 3pm to 6pm daily.
The Aperitivo Hour takes place at the onsite bar, Astor Bar. Below is the complimentary drinks menu:

Butler Service
St. Regis properties have exclusive butler service available to all guests 24 hours. I was informed about this but did not utilize the service during my stay as I didn’t feel the need to. The services include the following:
- Unpacking/packing your luggage
- 2 pieces of garment pressing per day
- Shoeshine services
- Hot coffee or tea upon arrival and in the mornings between 6am to 11am

Welcome Amenity
At check-in. I elected to have the complimentary breakfast as my welcome amenity gift for being a Marriott Platinum Elite member, and it was a smart choice. The breakfast at The St. Regis Singapore is incredible and offers much better value than the 1,000 elite bonus points.
Food & Beverage Credits
Besides the free breakfast and the Aperitivio Hour mentioned above under the executive club lounge, Marriott elite members have no other food and beverage credits at The St. Regis Singapore.
Complimentary Breakfast
The breakfast at The St. Regis Singapore is amazing. I received the complimentary breakfast for being a Marriott Platinum Elite member and truly enjoyed the dining experience there.
Complimentary Breakfast |
You can order breakfast from the menu or enjoy the International buffet style, from Western dishes to Asian and Singapore signature dishes such as dim sum and laksa.

I really love the laksa dish with its rich flavor and huge prawns.
