UPDATE:
Marriott International made an announcement in 2019 on their acquisition of Tamarind by Elegant Hotels that feature all-inclusive resorts both family-friendly and adults only properties. This is definitely an exciting news because up to this point, the only two all-inclusive resorts under Marriott Bonvoy program is The Westin Reserva Conchal, an All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa in Costa Rica and Al Maha, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa in Dubai.
Therefore, it is nice to see that there are more all-inclusive resorts are being added to Marriott Bonvoy portfolio and the best part is you can now earn and use Marriott Bonvoy points to redeem for an award stay as well at those All-Inclusive Elegant Hotels.
