This appears to be a targeted offer as the public offer on the Barclay’s website still shows the regular 32,000 bonus choice points. I received this offer in my email this morning, so check your email.

  • Receive 32,000 point bonus after you spend $1,000 within the first 90 days, and receive an additional 32,000 bonus points after you spend an additional $2,000 within the first 180 days of the account open date. 
  • Offer expires November 30, 2018
  • 8,000 bonus Choice points every year after spending $10,000 or more. 
  • $0 annual fee. 
  • 15x points per $1 spent at Choice hotels.
  • 5x points per $1 spent on purchase of Choice points or Choice hotels gift cards.
  • 2x points per $1 spent on everything else. 
  • Automatic elite gold status. 

My 2 Cents:
This is the best offer I have ever seen with Barclay Choice Privileges Visa Credit Card. I used to want this credit card for the perk that it provides automatic elite gold status to be able to book 100 days in advance for reward stays. However, Choice now also allows the basic member to book 100 days in advance for reward stays, so this perk now becomes just icing on the cake for me to get this credit card. I would sign up for this offer in a heartbeat but I am nowadays worried about too many recent opening accounts with Chase and Barclay is also known for being sensitive if one has too many inquiries on the credit report. Getting 64,000 bonus points with a no annual fee card is a great deal.
