Singapore Airlines Will Be Using 787-10 Dreamliner for SQ224 and SQ225 Between Perth and Singapore Starting October 1, 2019

Singapore Airlines is known for its best Business Class in the airlines industry. Currently, Singapore is flying its new 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft from Perth to Singapore on the flight number SQ216, departing at 1:10 AM. Singapore’s 787-10 Business Class provides great lie-flat bed seats in a 1-2-1 configuration.

Currently, Singapore is also using their dated angle flat A330 on Perth to Singapore route flight number SQ224, departing Perth at 6:25 AM. From October 1st 2019 on, Singapore will use 787-10 to fly this route instead of the A330. This is an exciting news for those that want to experience a good 5 hours lie-flat business class seats between Australia and Asia.

Perth <> Singapore 787-10 Routes & Schedules

  • SQ216 – Perth (1:10 AM) – Singapore (6:35 AM).
  • SQ215 – Singapore (6:45 PM) – Perth (11:55 PM).
  • SQ224 – Perth (6:25 AM) – Singapore (11:45 AM). Starting October 1, 2019
  • SQ225 – Singapore (12:05 AM) – Perth (5:15 AM). Starting October 1, 2019

The duration of the flight is around 5 hours long.

Redemption

Singapore defines Perth and Darwin as a different zone from the rest of Australia, making the award redemption quite attractive.

If you enjoy flying, consider flying to South China, Hong Kong & Taiwan as the duration of flight is longer than those Southeast Asian countries.
