Back on February 9, 2021, Marriott made an announcement of adding Blue Diamond Resorts’ portfolio of all-inclusive hotels and resorts to their Autograph Collection brand. The new Autograph Collection all-inclusive resorts can be found across Antigua and Barbuda, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Jamaica, Mexico, and St. Lucia. These are in addition to Marriott’s 2019 acquisition of the Tamarind by Elegant Hotels that feature all-inclusive resorts both family-friendly and adults-only properties.

In May 2021, Marriott Bonvoy members were able to use Marriott Bonvoy points to book the all-inclusive Tamarind by Elegant Hotels, and now Marriott also makes it possible for members to earn and redeem Marriott Bonvoy points and use Marriott Free Night Certificate at these new Autograph Collection all-inclusive resorts.

Marriott’s New Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resorts

When Marriott acquired Elegant Hotels that features all-inclusive amenities, Marriott did not make any adjustment to its current brand portfolios with the addition of those All-Inclusive Elegant Hotels. These properties are being advertised as “by Elegant Hotels – All-Inclusive” and feature both family-friendly and adults-only resorts.
With the addition of the Blue Diamond all-inclusive resorts, however, Marriott added these resorts under the Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resorts and advertise them as “An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort.” These resorts focus on a curated collection of distinctively independent all-inclusive properties that span across Antigua and Barbuda, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Jamaica, Mexico, and St. Lucia.
These new Autograph Collection all-inclusive resorts are the latest addition to the Marriott Bonvoy program that allows members to earn and redeem Marriott Bonvoy points for an award stay at worldwide all-inclusive properties on top of the current Marriott all-inclusive properties below:
