I was flying Business Class with Qatar Airways from Frankfurt Airport (FRA) to Doha Airport (DOH). Qatar Airways does not have its own lounge at Frankfurt International Airport, so they have an agreement with the Priority Lounge, which is also a Priority Pass Lounge that members can enter with their Priority Pass Membership.
It’s important to understand that the Priority Lounge is located at E gate, Terminal 2, an International Terminal at Frankfurt Airport (FRA). The lounge is also located before security and after passport control. So you should give yourself time to clear the security to get to your boarding gate if you use the lounge. The good news is the security area is right across the lounge, and there is a Priority Lane for business class passengers. It hardly got busy there, though, when I was there.
Security & Priority Lane Across From Priority Lounge
The Priority Lounge allows access to several airline’s premium class passengers and those with a Priority Pass Membership.
Qatar Airways business class passengers can also access the lounge for free.
The Priority Lounge is smaller than I expected. After entering the lounge, two sections are divided into left and right. There are some seats in each section, but if you want to be close to the buffet food and drinks, the right side section dining chairs and tables are closer to the buffet station.
There is also a higher seating area, which does not overlook the runway.

The food inside the Priority Lounge is buffet-style. So you can enjoy it as much as you like. However, I find the quality of the food is mediocre, and the selections are small.
Since it’s a German airport lounge, you can find signature German food such as hot dogs, sausages, and sauerkraut.

Chicken Wings & Other Hot Food Items
Drinks at the Priority Lounge are also self-served, with unlimited liquors and non-alcoholic beverages. They are all located by the buffet food area.
The bathroom is good and clean, and two toilets are fully enclosed.
What caught me by surprise is the Priority Lounge also has shower rooms. There are three shower rooms, but only two are used, and shower #3 is used for storage, as I was told.
To take a shower, stop by the front desk with your boarding pass. The front desk staff will take your boarding pass, and when you are done showering, the boarding pass will return to you when you return the shower room’s key. The towels are already inside the shower room, and other amenities, such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, and Q-tips, can also be obtained from the front desk.
Wi-Fi is free, and no code is required. You simply connect to Telekom_AirLounge.
Qatar Airways does not have a lounge at Frankfurt International Airport (FRA), so they contract with the Priority Lounge, which is also a Priority Pass Lounge for business class passengers flying with Qatar Airways. The lounge is not big, and the buffet food is smaller than expected. But you can enjoy the drinks as much as you want, including alcoholic beverages. The lounge also has shower rooms should you want to feel refreshed before getting on the plane.
Lastly, it’s important to know that the Priority Lounge is BEFORE security and after passport control, so you must clear the security before going to your gate across from the lounge.
