The IASS Hawaii Lounge at Honolulu International Airport is very small and in my honest opinion, it’s one of the worst airport lounges that I’ve been in. It’s rather very disappointing and unfortunately that’s the only lounge that Priority Pass members can access inside the International Terminal at Honolulu airport. The direction to the lounge in the Priority Pass app is also not very helpful. Please see our “Getting In” section below for a better direction.

Getting In
Priority Pass members can access the IASS Hawaii Lounge. It is located airside in the International Terminal after security at Honolulu airport. The location of the lounge described in the Priority Pass app is not helpful at all. As you are inside the International Terminal, look for “Cultural Garden” sign or go to the F gate. Follow the sign and you should see KAL Lounge and another posted sign about Airport Lounges. Take the elevator or stairs to level 1 and you should be able to locate the lounge from there.

If you don’t have Priority Pass membership, you can pay to access the lounge but don’t do it! In my honest opinion, this lounge is not that special and therefore it’s not worth paying to get in. Consider getting complimentary Priority Pass Membership through credit cards out there instead.
Food & Drinks
To make matters worse, the IASS Hawaii Lounge did not have food or snack items when we were there. All they offered were drinks such as soda, water and juices. That’s it! No alcoholic drinks. I am not sure whether it was because of the COVID-19 reason or not.

Lounge Seats
The IASS Hawaii Lounge is a very tiny lounge. You can see the entire lounge with a blink of an eye. The seats are okay and padded, but because the lounge is too small, you can really feel very stuffy when it’s crowded with people. There were quite a few people in the lounge when we were there, so we didn’t sit very long. We grabbed a couple soda drinks and headed out to sit on the chairs by the garden court instead. In fact, we felt that the outside atmosphere was more relaxing and enjoying, and the garden court at Honolulu airport is lovely! After all, the garden court is open air and it is Hawaii weather.

Conclusion
The IASS Hawaii Lounge is very disappointing for a Priority Pass lounge. I would not recommend you pay to access this lounge. The lounge is too small and can feel lack of air when it is filled with people. The lounge doesn’t have food or snack items, only non-alcoholic drinks. Unfortunately that’s the only Priority Pass lounge that’s inside the International Terminal at Honolulu airport.
