The EVA Lounge Taipei Terminal 2 is good but not excellent. It is a good-sized lounge and splits into two sections between the front desk area. Here’s the review in detail.

Location

Known as the EVA Air Infinity VIP Lounge, EVA Air Lounge is located upstairs after clearing immigration in Terminal 2. You take the escalator up, and you’ll then see the lounge.

Keep in mind also that across from the EVA Air Lounge is the Garden Lounge, which is only accessible by the Diamond members, not EVA Air or Star Alliance Business Class passengers.

Who Can Use EVA Air Lounge?

You can access the lounge with a valid boarding pass of EVA Air or the Star Alliance business class cabin. See the following:

  • BR Royal Laurel / Premium Laurel / Business Class
  • Star Alliance First/Business Class travelers can access

Moreover, if you have Diamond status with EVA Air, you can access the Garden Lounge across from the EVA Air Business Class VIP Lounge.

EVA Air Taipei Lounge Access Price

You cannot pay to access the EVA Air Lounge. Therefore, you must have elite status or fly business class, known as Royal Laurel, with EVA Air or fly first/business class with the Star Alliance.

EVA Air Taipei Lounge Hours

EVA Air Lounge opens daily from 4:30 am to 11:30 pm.

Lounge Seats

EVA Air Taipei Terminal 2 Lounge is divided into two areas between the front desk. So there are plenty of seats available on both sides. I specifically like the seats in EVA Air Lounge for the design and colors, especially the ones to the right. That area is also more intimate because it’s smaller than the lounge area on the left.

The following are photos of the seats on the left section.

The following are photos of the seats on the right section.

Food Menu

Both lounge sections serve the same buffet food. So you won’t miss out on anything. I was visiting in the lounge in the morning, so the options were American breakfast, Asian congee, assorted dim sum, and a salad bar.

The buffet area is also small, so there are not many food options at EVA Air Lounge. The food offering is adequate but nothing to write home about.

Drinks

Furthermore, unlimited alcoholic liquors, beers, and wines are available and self-serve. However, there’s no bar. Nonalcoholic such as teas, coffee, and sodas are also available.

Bathroom

Both sections have bathrooms, but the toilet stalls are not fully enclosed, which I don’t like.

Shower Suites

There is a shower suite inside the lounge. However, there is only one shower suite, and a reservation is required.

Nap Rooms

None

Other amenities

  • Business center with computers and a printer
  • Lockers
  • VIP rooms in the right section for accessible passengers.

Conclusion

EVA Air Taipei Terminal 2 Lounge is an adequate business-class lounge at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (TPE). It’s good but not an impressive lounge. It’s also nice to rest and relax there before departure as there’s a buffet food and free drinks including alcoholic beverages for consumption. Moreover, a shower suite is also available to reserve, and other amenities to use.
