Starwood Hotels and Resorts will no longer be a partner in the Amtrak Guest Rewards program.
After July 31, 2018, you will no longer be able to transfer Starpoints into Amtrak Guest Rewards points. That means if you have Starpoints, you can transfer at a full 1:1 ratio by July 31, 2018.
- Minimum Starpoints needed for transfer: 1500
- Maximum Starpoints needed for transfer: 100,000
Moreover, after July 31, 2018, you will no longer be able to earn Amtrak Guest Rewards points on Starwood stays, redeem your points for Starwood certificates, or transfer Starpoints into Amtrak Guest Rewards points.
