Hyatt now allows Hyatt members to use points to book right into Suites. While
searching for the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa for my travel next
year online using points, I see that Hyatt website now displays the options for
Standard Suite Free Night and Premium Suite Free Night using all points.

Booking Suites Using Hyatt Points
Currently, these are the options for booking Suites using Hyatt points:
- You use 100% points to book for Suite.
- You use points + cash to book for Suite.
- You use points to book a Standard Room, then use points to upgrade for
Suite. - You book a paid stay and use points to upgrade for Suite.
Up to this point, while Hyatt allows points redemption for Suites room
types, you still need to call Hyatt in order to request the upgrade. Hyatt
agent needs to search for availability and confirms the upgrade for you.
But as of today, it appears that Hyatt now makes it possible for Hyatt
members to redeem Hyatt points and book right into Standard and Premium
Suites all online without any phone calls to Hyatt.

How to Book Suites Using World of Hyatt Points
The process to book Suites using Hyatt points is pretty much the same as you were to book a Standard Room using Hyatt points.
Head over to Hyatt website, put in your travel destination, dates, etc. using points and perform search. If Suite rooms are available, Hyatt website will display the results accordingly for booking.
