    Check-In & Lounge Access

The check-In priority lane is considered Sky Priority. This means that you share the queues with the SkyTeam priority members, Air France elite, etc., and other Business Class passengers.
After you successfully perform check-in for your flight, the agent will give you a lounge pass as an invitation for access to the Air Tahiti Nui Lounge, the only lounge at the Papeete airport. It’s also worth noting that Air Tahiti Nui Lounge also accepts Priority Pass Membership.

The Air Tahiti Nui Lounge is alright, and there’s nothing to really write home about. You have to press the Ring button to have the lounge door open for you before entering. You can read the full review of the lounge below.

Air France 777-200 Business Class Seats

Air France Business Class seats on the Boeing 777-200 aircraft are herringbone seats that offer direct aisle access for every seat with a 1-2-1 configuration.

All business class seats can be turned into a lie-flat position. The seat is very comfortable sitting up and lying down, with much legroom and space to explore.

    Legroom
Overall, I was very pleased with my Business Class seat 1A. I did not feel bothersome since the seat was close to the lavatory. It’s worth mentioning that the galley on this aircraft is located at the back, not at the front!

    Drinks & Lunch

There are wide selections of wines and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. I was surprised that no welcome drinks were offered in the Business Class cabin.

    Wine Menu
I personally feel that this particular Air France route failed to deliver in the premium cabin when it comes to food. I always expect fine delicious French cuisine from the French flagship, but I did not get that. The food just tastes mediocre. In fact, I could not finish the meal because it just did not taste that great to me.
Everyone gets the same for starter, cheese, and dessert. I chose Beef chuck, rice, and mixed baby vegetables for the main dish.

    Lunch Menu
The meal service also appeared to be slower than usual, and although I was sitting in seat 1A, my meal was last served. That is perhaps because the galley is actually located in the back.

Self-serving drinks & snacks at the back
One good thing that I appreciate is that they serve two times of meals service: Lunch was served after taking off, and the light snack was served one and half hours before landing.

    Before Landing & Light Snack

The light snack was served one and half hours before landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
It sounded terrific when you read what’s included in the light snack on the menu, the food itself actually did not taste as good as it sounded.

    Free Messaging & Wi-Fi

There is Wi-Fi onboard the aircraft, but it’s not free. However, Air France also offers messaging in the air, which is free for the flight duration. So you can use messaging apps to chat with friends and family without incurring any fees.

    Miles Booking

I decided to redeem 64,000 Flying Blue points transferred from points earned through signing up for the Brex business cash checking account. There’s no hard pull on credit with a Brex cash account, and you can earn rewards points that can transfer to select frequent flyer programs such as Air France Flying Blue
The tax and fuel surcharges were around $290, which is slightly high, but that’s expected from the Flying Blue points redemption on Air France. It’s still worth it to exchange your points and just $290 to fly a Business Class lie-flat seat for over 7 and half hours long.
