How to Maximize Omaha Steaks Purchase With Upcoming T-Mobile Tuesdays Deal, Amex Offer & Cashback

UPDATE: It appears that T-Mobile Tuesday Deal for Omaha Steaks has been fully redeemed. So it's no longer available.

I generally don't consider buying meats off the Internet, but with the upcoming T-Mobile Tuesday deal tomorrow, there are quite a few opportunities to stack up some cash back and credit card points along with a good discount for Omaha Steaks purchase and free salmon.

If you are not sure what Omaha Steaks is, it is an online retailer of steaks, seafood, and gifts with a headquarter's location in Omaha, Nebraska.

Maximizing Omaha Steaks Purchase With T-Mobile Tuesday, Amex Offer & Cashback

    • 50% Off + Free Shipping: Tomorrow Tuesday July 14, 2020 - Both T-Mobile and Sprint customers can enjoy T-Mobile Tuesday deal that offers 50% off plus free shipping when you spend $79 or more on Omaha Steaks. Generally, you are required to spend at least $159 in order to qualify for free shipping with Omaha Steaks. Be sure to save the offer and redeem it by the offer's deadline. If you are a Sprint customer and don't know how to get T-Mobile Tuesdays, see this post.
    • Free Wild Alaskan Skin-On Sockeye Salmon: Any purchases over $110.00 qualify for 8 (6 oz.) Wild Alaskan Skin-On Sockeye Salmon.
    • Amex Offer: If you have an American Express credit card, be sure to check the Amex offers for the following offer:
      • Spend $40 or more at Omaha Steaks, get $10 back. Add the offer to your Amex card.

    • Earn Cashback: Omaha Steaks is also available on a cashback portal such as the Ebates/Rakuten. Currently, it is s currently offering 3.5% cash back on Omaha Steaks purchases. If you do not have Ebates/Rakuten account, you can join for free. If you join and spend $25, you will receive additional $10 bonus. You are likely going to spend more than $25 on Omaha Steaks anyway. Here's how you would do it:
      • Go to Ebates/Rakuten portal site.
      • Sign in with your account. If you do not have an account, you can join for free. Plus after you join and spend $25, you will get additional $10 bonus from Rakuten.
      • Search for Omaha Steaks.
      • Click Shop Now.
    • Start shopping, and be sure to use the Amex credit card that has the Amex offer for Omaha Steaks.

Which Credit Card to Use for Omaha Steaks Purchase?

Omaha Steaks is categorized as an online/Internet purchase. I can't seem to find a good data point on it as far as what the transaction is coded as. Under Amex offers, it shows up under Dining category. So if American Express codes Omaha Steaks purchase as Dining, that would be a great way to stack with it with not only the Amex offer, but also the current COVID-19 for all restaurants expenses on both Amex Hilton Aspire card and Amex Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant card

Either way, the goal here is to stack Omaha Steaks with T-Mobile Tuesday deal along with the Amex offer. So you should consider using an American Express credit card.

Checklist For Maximizing Omaha Steaks Purchase:

    • You save and redeem T-Mobile Tuesday deal for Omaha Steaks by the deadline via T-Mobile Tuesdays app.
    • You spend over $110 to receive free 8 (6 oz.) Wild Alaskan Skin-On Sockeye Salmon.
    • You use cash back portal sites to go to Omaha Steaks website instead of going to Omaha Steaks website directly. If you are not sure what this means, it is mentioned in details under "How to Maximize" section above.
    • You decide which Amex credit card to use and add Amex offer for Omaha Steaks to that Amex card.
    • You pay for the transaction with that Amex card.
