Each year, Hyatt adjusts the award categories for select hotels and resorts. The positive news this year is that the Hyatt award chart remains unchanged, and members have until March 25, 2025, to secure the current redemption rates before the new categories take effect.
How far out can you book Hyatt?
Hyatt’s reservation calendar opens thirteen (13) months in advance.
Therefore, If you intend to use your World of Hyatt points at hotels and resorts that are moving to a higher category, it is advisable to make reservations before March 25 for stays up to 13 months in advance.
Hyatt’s redemption generally includes free cancellation. However, if you cancel or modify your reservation after March 25, the new award redemption rates will apply.
