I have been planing a trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico this winter. So I have been doing research on tour companies and excursions to do while staying on the island because I am not planning on renting a car there.

Puerto Rico is not all about the San Juan island. There are smaller islands out there that are part of Puerto Rico. If you are looking for much whiter sandy beaches and clearer water with more beautiful coral reefs for snorkeling, then you should choose Culebra island. You can either fly or take a very cheap ferry to Culebra from San Juan, but it requires a lot of planning to get there if you opt for the ferry option.
