Best Western now has a dedicated site that allows members to purchase points online. This offers a more convenient way to top off your Best Western points without having to call the customer service. The same rule applies in terms of how many points you can purchase. It costs $10 for 1,000 points, up to a maximum of 20,000 points per day.
Which Credit Card Should You Use to Buy Best Western Points?
Buying points through Best Western’s call center has always been processed by the Best Western Hotels & Resorts. I did reach out to Best Western via Twitter to confirm if that remains the same with online transaction. They did confirm that the transaction of buying Best Western points online will be processed directly by Best Western. This means that, you can use your favorite credit card to buy and earn bonus rewards on hotels/travel category purchases.

Maximizing Best Western Points Purchase
Best Western has never offered any sales or bonus on points purchase that I know of. However, because the transaction is processed directly by Best Western Hotels & Resorts, it is coded as hotel’s charges. This means that you can leverage any Amex or Chase Offers to buy those points and earn some statement credits back. It’s like buying Best Western points at a discounted rate. As always though, you should buy points only when you have a specific redemption in mind.
