IHG has released their PointsBreak promotion that’s valid for booking through September 30, 2018. Each IHG hotel property around the world that participates in this promotion requires 5,000 points, 10,000 points and 15,000 points per night stay during promotional period. This is a good use of IHG points if you are able to take advantage of this promotion that lines up with your travel plans, especially if you have an eligible IHG credit card the Chase IHG Rewards Club Traveler Credit Card ($29 annual fee) or the Chase IHG Rewards Club Premier Credit Card ($89 annual fee), you can combine this promotion with the 4th Reward Night Free. So for the 5,000 points per night property, you will just pay 15,000 IHG points for 4-night stays or only 3,750 points per night. But that’s not all, if you have the discontinued old IHG Rewards Club Select Credit Card ($49 annual fee), you also receive the 10% rebate on points stays.
