Early this month July 1st, I applied for the new World of Hyatt credit card issued by Chase and got instant approved. I have some upcoming Hyatt stays that all the perks that come with the card such as  9x points per dollar spent at worldwide Hyatt properties and the Discoverist status will come in handy, but I wasn't sure when Hyatt recognizes me as the Discoverist status for me to take full advantages of the new Chase's World of Hyatt credit card that currently offers up to 60,000 welcome bonus points (non-affiliate full review here).


Today July 10th, 9 days after my credit card's approval date, I received an email from Hyatt congratulating me on becoming a World of Hyatt Discoverist.

"Congratulations on becoming a World of Hyatt Discoverist. In World of Hyatt, exceptional service comes standard and unforgettable experiences are always at your fingertips.

 There you have it! It is nice to see that Hyatt recognizes members that got approved for the credit card and upgrades members to Discoverist status in such as short time frame. In fact, my Hyatt credit card has not even arrived yet.
